Primal Body Reboot is a six-week online course focused on building better mobility without forcing yourself through boring gym routines. It's all about building a foundation of body literacy so you can move with less tension and more ease. So, why did I create a course with such a different approach?
Most programs focus on aesthetics and packing on muscle. It's like trying to make a faster, shinier car but forgetting that what matters most is the person driving it.The problem is that we never get taught how to take care of our bodies. We shouldn't have had to anyway. We evolved to hunt and gather, not to sit in front of screens all day.
But in the modern world, if we want to move well into our older years and not accept a slow decline, we need to learn how to do basic body maintenance. We need to learn how to not workout for some arbitrarily prescribed time, but to integrate healthy movement into our lifestyle. Shaming yourself into boring gym routines is not a sustainable strategy.
And anyway, packing muscle on top of a misaligned foundation will only lead to collapse later on.
Step 1: Become a better driver of your body
You learn to be a better driver of your body by getting to know it in an observational, curious way. Tools like mindfulness scanning, standing check-ins, and joint explorations help to build a better map of your body and understand the signals it's sending you.
Step 2: Master primal patterns
Once you have a map, you can begin (re)exploring primal ground patterns to fix your weak links and reconnect your body. You start being able to listen to your body and become an ally to it rather than an adversary.
Step 3: Integrate into daily life
Practice and integration are where the magic happens. Stacking the movements into your life makes them easier to do. Being supported by a coach and community makes you less likely to give up. It's easier when we're not doing it alone.
Step 4: Go anywhere
This is when you start waking up feeling awesome. Whether you like to hike, climb, dance, or practice martial arts, with a strong base of primal movement you can be sure your body will stand up in any situation.
“I can hold a deep squat for the first time ever and I’m finally moving consistently, which is helping me renovate my future home. I can now lift and carry without fear.”
—Alessia Maggi
“I’ve always struggled with standardized gym routines and fell out of them quickly due to boredom. The training gave me a whole new confidence in myself and what my body was capable of."
—Coen Vazquez
"Clothes fit better. Reaching down to pick stuff up off the floor is easier. And I have more energy to play with my kids."
—Brian Russel
The sad reality is that many people never prioritize their bodies until it's too late.
Or they try to skip ahead to high-intensity training because that's what you're told to do.
You have to learn the alphabet before you can write. The same is true for movement. By learning how each part of your body works you build a strong physical vocabulary.
From there, mastering primal patterns sets you up for long-term success.
Humans, obviously. But more specifically, it's for people who have struggled with the standard fitness approach and have a hard time making exercise a regular habit.
This is for anyone who wants to get free of nagging pains and release built up tension.
I've coached everyone from 24-year-olds that feel like it's too late, to 60-year-old weekend warriors that can't be kept down, to an aspiring actor with a frozen shoulder.
If you're willing to do the work and show up with an open mind, I can help you. If you don't get results, I don't want your money.
No confusing workout sheets or complicated training schedules to decipher. Every lesson is clear and easy to follow, and what to do each day is spelled out plainly.
If you ever have any questions or challenges, help is always a quick email away.
I'm passionate about helping people wake up feeling awesome in their bodies, because I used to feel like an old man trapped in a young person's body.
Traditional training didn't work for me, it only left me feeling more broken. By going back to the foundations of primal movement I was able to fix my weak links and build a resilient body I can trust.
There were times when I gave up or stopped thinking it was possible. Knowing how hard it can be is the precise reason I want to help you transform your body.
If a lanky, stiff, uncoordinated weirdo can restore his body and move with confidence, so can you.
Many people come to me for coaching and admit ashamedly that they just couldn't exercise regularly on their own. They needed support and accountability so they wouldn't feel like they're letting someone else down.
While my goal is to teach you to see movement as a valid self-care pursuit in and of itself, I get that we're wired to exist within a community. So I want this to be something you don't just consume but implement, which is why I've made feedback a part of the process.
If at any point you have a question that comes up, just send me a message and I'll help you get on the right track.
“The movements where like balm to my hips. Since the program started I’ve experienced some pain free mornings in my hip that I haven’t felt for at least 8 months!”
—Lourenco Azevedo
“ I am incredibly motivated by seeing my wrist strength improvement progress so much in just three weeks."
—Tara Carter
"I notice just how much improvements in squatting make for me on a daily basis in some of the smallest ways... getting groceries, cleaning the house, even getting in and out of the car."
—Chris Lenn

(With answers as well so you don't have to guess.)
An hour a week will get you set on reviewing lessons. Expect to devote at least 30 minutes a day to practice. The best part, though, is that you can integrate the lessons into your day that won't require more time.
No worries. You can go at your own pace and you'll have access to the lessons for life. However, this is a weekly course, so you can't skip ahead, sorry.
While the focus of the program is not on building muscle necessarily, you will be getting stronger. The more connected and organized your body is, the more you can move with strength and ease.
Generally speaking, when people start moving more they burn off more calories. Couple that with movement improving your mood, you might have fewer cravings and eat less. While not guaranteed, there's a good chance you'll lose weight in addition to having more energy.
Absolutely! All of these lessons are gender-neutral. If you have a body and can move, you can benefit from this course.
